Praying

Since my last post I have been praying through a lot.

I'm wondering what I put on my blog and what I keep off. As a Christian, I must be wise with my words and use discernment, especially since no one can see me, touch me, or hear the inflections in my voice. This technology thing is tricky.

I stopped Facebook because I struggled with how much time/energy it sucked out of me and for the fact that half of my "friends" weren't really friends. I also see how it can become a way to feel like you are in relationship with people and not really be. My desire is to be real in person as well as on my blog, no matter what.

My week has been relationally stretching. I'm meditating on this verse once again, "Everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible but not everything is constructive." 1 Cor. 10:23

I want this blog to be beneficial and constructive to those who read it. And honestly, I don't always pray about what/how I write before I write it. So, you can be sure that this is what I will be doing from now on.

And as for my last post...I will hold off from processing more of that topic for another time.
