Traveling in Big Buster

What goes on in Big Buster when we are driving you ask?? Well, we do have a few rules because having 3 little rascals loose while driving gets a little hairy.
Some of the rules include:
no screaming in Daddy's ear while driving
no wrestling up front
always be sitting on the floor, the couch, or sometimes the passenger's seat
if you need to be wild, go to the back room

Many of the activities include:
movies
coloring
playing games (like Hi Ho Cherrio! -love that game)
eating snacks
taking naps

We keep the traveling hours to a maximum of 5 hours. And sometimes (if I'm lucky) we do night drives which are oh so peaceful! I usually feed the kids a late dinner while Andy starts to drive, then we read some books and I put them down for beddy-bye. We then enjoy a nice, quiet drive until about 10:30-11:00pm.
And what about Serenity? Does she drive? Nope, not yet. I'm a little nervous but I know it needs to happen sooner or later. As for now, I will enjoy the kids, maintain the chaos, and be the Mustard Seed "Magellan" for our travels with my crafty Google maps skills.
Overall, our traveling days are still fun and exciting. We're heading into a new city and a new adventure. Next stop, Grand Rapids, MI!
