our plate is full

Like I said, our plate is full at the moment. We are feeling the weight of all that needs to be done in about 3 months. I assume (or maybe I shouldn't) you all are curious at what in the world you do to get a family of 5 out of a house and into an RV for ministry across the US. Well if it was up to me, it would be a much longer process, not because I would want it to be but because I get totally overwhelmed by details and organizing huge long "to do" lists. Thank the good Lord I am married to a left-brained man. I do much better when someone puts one thing on my plate at a time. I am an extreme right brain, as the tests have shown, and I would rather just talk, dream, journal, and relationship my way through this life change. Nope, doesn't work like that.
Here is a bit of the list that continues to grow and expand every day for the Coulombe fam:

1) create support letter (this one has been done with Tim and Jenn and I think we are on our 3rd try and 600 copies of an oops-what do you do with 600 messed up support letters?)
2) create and send letters to RV manufacturers asking if they have been dying to give away a Super-C motorhome (this one is done!! Now we are just waiting for a response......)
3) stuff, address, and stamp our letters
4) somehow start getting rid of furniture and all this stuff we have (this is harder than you think!)
5) try and decide what items are too precious to give away or sell
6) find a place to store these precious items
7) keep my eyes on Jesus
8) still praying that our friends, Brian and Andrea, sell their house so that they can buy ours
9) make contact, reservations, accommodations, hospitality, service, etc. for the first few cities we will be stopping at
10) create letter that goes out to the folks we would like to visit to see if they would welcome us and put us to work/teach us/whatever
11) begin the process of handing over the homeless ministry to our dear friend, Anne
12) meet and find a good CPA that knows a lot about non-profit/ministry stuff
13) keep my eyes on Jesus

This is all on top of keeping up with housework, being a mommy to my 3 kids, being a loving wife, grocery shopping, seeing friends/family, having time with the Lord- key right now, and all the other things that pop up throughout the week.
These details drive me a little crazy, but I have been amazed at God's grace through it. And thank goodness for Andy, Tim and Jenn- all of us together make a good team.
It takes effort to drop everything for Jesus but He is paving the way and I am more than happy to do it for Him. I often think of what He would do in this situation and He reminds me that He wouldn't be "in a situation" but that He is loving me and guiding me into His path. Without Him this would be for nothing. So once again, I point not to me, but to my Friend, my Savior, and my Father who wants the best for me.
