Date night in Boston

We've concluded that Andy and I have had more dates while we have been traveling than over the last 5 years! Someone in almost every city has offered to babysit our kids so that we could go out on a date, amazing!

I think we may have had the best date so far in Boston. Bill and Sue Dunigan, the couple that runs the Jubilee House, took our kids and sent us away with a gift certificate to G'vanni's in Little Italy. OH MY GOODNESS! Yum! We felt totally spoiled. We walked the old cobblestone streets with full, happy tummies and then stuffed ourselves a little more with dessert from Mike's Pastries.

Here's some pics of our lovely night together!

G'vanni's was a fancy little hole-in-the wall that everyone knows about. It was perfect, especially with a fabulous glass of Merlot.Mike's Pastry was a crazy nut house- I was happy to have a classic "Bostonian" experience here. Pushy, loud, feels like the mob might be right outside the door. Plus, they had an ingenious system for the string that they tied the box with- it came right out of the ceiling!
